Update April 2025:
While I still teach woodworking at the Community College whenever I can, I am soon launching myself as a Death Educator and End-of-Life Planner. My passion is helping adults of all ages learn about, think about, and then create a packet for their end of life. This process doesn’t need to be morbid, in fact I believe planning for a better death can actually make your life better. Advance planning can bring great peace of mind to you and your loved ones. Whether you’re a young healthy person who wants to make sure they don’t leave a pile of tasks for their grieving loved ones, someone with a terminal diagnosis who wants to take care of things yourself while you still have the capacity, or in your retirement years and realize the documents you wrote up years ago need a fresh look, I can work with you. I am neither a lawyer nor a medical professional, but I have experienced a lot of personal loss and have seen it go well and not so… I am eager to work with you on all the things that you can take care of now, that will help make things easier after.

My name is Emunah and I’ve been woodworking, making furniture and cabinets since 2013. For years I worked in the nonprofit sector, bringing together my art background and passion for social justice. Now I am excited to be on a new path — to make beautiful and strong furniture that can be handed down and avoid ending up in a landfill. Let me work with you to design a piece of furniture that will fit in with what you have already but also stand out as a high quality custom-made piece you can be proud of.
Do you need a table to fit in a tight space, a headboard to dress up your bedroom, or a practical storage solution that you want to look built-in? Don’t hesitate to contact me. There’s no charge for talking through the possibilities. I look forward to working with you!
